Obituary for Richard Washburn
Richard Paul Washburn of Abbott, Texas passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 in Temple, Texas. Richard was born in Decatur, Alabama on January 4, 1942 to James Paul and Jewell Ward Washburn.
After ten years in the United States Army as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, Richard worked as a real estate appraiser. He enjoyed working with wood, was active in several professional organizations associated with his work as an appraiser and spent time in several Vietnam War Veterans groups.
Preceded in death by his parents and a brother and sister, he is survived by his wife of ten years, Franci; son, Richard L. Washburn of Itasca, Texas; daughter, Stella Washburn of Tucson, Arizona and sister, Trannie.
