Obituary for Patricia E. "Trish" Brister (Brown)
Patricia “Trish” Ellen Brister, 70, of Hillsboro, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, in Hillsboro. She was born on January 9, 1949 to Merton and Emma (nee Harper) Brown in Tooele, Utah.
Trish was married for fifty years to the love of her life, Ernest Brister Jr. She was a wife, mom and homemaker to a family she adored. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and old movies and crocheted as her hobby. She worked as a data processor later in life after raising her children. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Trish was proceeded in death by her parents and her brother Merton Brown. She is survived by her husband Ernest; her sons Ernest “Trey” Brister III and his wife Christina of Colleyville, Frederick “Teddy” Brister and his wife Kassy of Woodway, and Donald Ray Brister and his wife Jen of Burleson; six grandchildren: Teddy A. Brister, Benjamin Brister, Willie Brister, Keeley Brister, Emma Brister, and Arianna Brister; and three grandchildren of the heart: Ay’niyah, A’Vah and Breden.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Friday, August 30, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home, 301 W. Elm St., Hillsboro 76645. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Garden of Memory.
