Leonard Hoover Rea, born January 8, 1931 in Alton, Illinois, passed away April 2, 2021 in Hillsboro, Texas.
Leonard was a truck driver who never met a stranger and was always willing to help those in need, especially family. He spent his spare time reading war stories and watching old war movies. Leonard also enjoyed telling stories and sharing jokes with those around him.
Leonard is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Laquita Ann Rea; daughters Theresa Rea and Annie Acker; sons-in-law Stephen Acker and Robert Mason; granddaughters Meagan Acker and Dezeray Jones; grandsons Jeremy Murphy, Jed Mason, and Bradon Pebbles; brother Joe Davis and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
