Obituary for Judy Ann "MeMe" Greene

Judy Ann Greene was born August 12, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas to Lucille and Sam Mills. She grew up in Joshua, Texas on a dairy farm with her four sisters, and one brother. She graduated from Joshua High School. Judy was the mother of four children, and Me-Me to 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She married her beloved husband Edward J. Green, and the couple have enjoyed 31 years together.

Judy is remembered as very outspoken, and wildly funny. He coworkers affectionately called her Granny. She worked at Carnation Can in Mansfield for many years, and worked as a waitress and security guard. Her favorite place was at any open Bingo Hall or Casino, as she loved to play. She also enjoyed crochet and was quick to go fishing. She enjoyed country music, the “oldies”, and especially loved Vince Gill. Judy touched the heart of everyone she encountered, and always made them laugh.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lucille and Sam Mills, her three sisters, one nephew, and her son Danny Stanley.

She is survived by her children Greg Stanley of Cleburne, Angela and George Shelton of Whitney, Doug and Miranda Stanley of Rio Vista; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
