Obituary for Johnnie Lorraine Bankston
Johnnie Lorraine Bankston passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. Johnnie was born in Fort Worth on November 22, 1946 to Thurston and Billie (Henry) Schellinger.
During her career as an insurance agent, Johnnie kept an immaculate home and a pristine yard. Known as a dynamo, she loved her family immensely and raised her children with a firm hand. An awesome cook and hard worker, she was known to always wear her make up, even when mowing her yard. Johnnie was always available to help her family and friends and would tackle jobs from carpentry to sheet rock.
Preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie is survived by her husband Kenneth and sons Clint Bankston and David Garner.
A graveside service will be held at Woodbury Cemetery in Woodbury, Texas on
Friday, February 5, 2021 at 10:00 am.
