Hazel Williams Cornish born to Amon and Fannie Mae Williams on July 02, 1936, in Mount Calm, Hill County Texas passed away on December 16, 2022. She attended Mount Calm Schools and later went on to marry L. C. Cornish as to which no children where born from their union. Hazel was a motherly figure to an abundance of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Amon Williams and Fannie Mae (Burgess) Williams, her brothers Howard Williams, Eugene Williams, Billy Joe Williams Sr., sister Verdell Toliver, and Aunt Margaret Allen.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memories are her oldest niece Tracy Sadle (Len) Walker, niece Chandra Williams (Michael) Sterling from Hubbard, Texas; Nephew Billy Williams Jr. from Hillsboro, Texas; nephew Shawn (Crystal) Williams from Cleburne, Texas; nephew Enoch Williams from Hillsboro, Tx; niece Hazel Michelle (Darrell) Tovar from Bynum, Texas; niece Shelly Williams from Hubbard, Texas; nephew Howard Lamont Williams Jr. from Waco, Texas, nephew Tony Ray Thompson, Jr. of Hubbard; great Niece Toni Williams of Hubbard, Texas, and a very special loving great-niece Amber Thomson (Dwight) from Hillsboro,Texas as well as a host of great-niece, nephews and cousins.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022 at Greater Mount Hope Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be officiated by Reverend Willis Ray Daniels at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022, also at Greater Mount Hope Baptist Church. Interment will immediately follow at Mount Calm Cemetery.
