David Milton Nalley, age 54, of Hillsboro, Texas passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at his home with his beloved wife by his side.

David was born on November 9, 1966 in Hillsboro, Texas to Joseph “Joey” and Betty (Flores) Nalley. David started his career in law enforcement working for Ellis County Sheriff’s department as a jailer and worked his way up to the rank of Sergeant. Later in his career, David became an animal control officer for the City of Waxahachie. He was an outdoorsman at heart. David spent most of his time fishing and exploring. The man would spend countless hours searching for arrowheads and things of that nature. As much as he loved the outdoors, most of all, he loved his family.

He is survived by his wife Theresa Nalley; his mother, Betty Williamson; stepfather, Joe (Louise) Williamson; children Emilee (Dario) Nalley, Katie Nalley; granddaughter Leia Lara; siblings Angela (Branden) Hayden, Benjamin (Trisha) Williamson; and by many nieces & nephews.

David was preceded in death by his father Joseph Addison Nalley and his grandparents.

A Memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Chisholm Trail Church, 7770 County Road 1208, Rio Vista, Texas 76093.
